I think this advert is aimed at people aged 16 and up wards and for people who are on the go that sweat and they want to smell good because there work involves lots of movement or manual work mainly in the C2 and D groups also they will be meeting costumers and want to smell good so the costumer and co-workers can bear to be around them.

 This advert uses someone from group A because they are looked up to by people in lower groups as important and smart and they would naturally believe what they say but the product its self is for anyone aged 5+ no matter what your class is you still brush your teeth.

 This advert is aimed at people aged 25+ in the A and B group because they can afford the product and want to be really showing off in the state of the art car instead of something that everyone can get, it also makes people in the lower group want to be like the people in the A and B group so they will save money if they can and buy the product so they can show off to others in there group and groups below and give the view that they are in a higher group.

Advert Evaluation (30.4)

The advert starts out by showing people wearing Adidas and its all a montage then as the music speeds up and drops its shows the people doing different activities wearing Adidas then it ends by one of the skaters coming towards the camera and then shows our slogan "WE ARE LONDON" and the Adidas logo.


In my point of view the advert went well and I got most of the shots that I wanted and I got to film mainly what I wanted but I still think I could have gotten more of a wide range of shots so there would be more variety in shots and I could have done more activities but I think the advert showed whats mainly done by teens in London in there spare time, overall I'm happy with it but theres always room for improvement and the team I had was good they helped out with filming and organising people for the video and equipment we used was good it got the job done to a satisfactory standard, the aspects of the final video I was pleased with was the videos going in sync with the music and some of the shots we got, if I compared it to a professional Adidas advert I can see some similarities and differences because its in a sporty theme and shows the product in use but it doesn't use the equipment used in some Adidas adverts to make them look polished and futuristic also we didn't have celebrities in our advert, we used music and sports which most people like and can relate to to persuade the audience, I think it will help sell the product because it shows everyone using it in different situations and places or at least get the brand more known in general, the target audience for my advert would be male and female aged between 12 to 40 mainly into sports, the feed back we got was good and most people enjoyed it and thought it got the message across, the only aspect I wasn't happy with was some team  member not turning up to shoot and the equipment could have been better but over all I was happy and think next time I will film more shots before I begin to edit.

TV advert are short clips that are used to promote a product to a target audience, There are three characteristics that are in most adverts these are slogans and name of brand,U.S.P(unique selling point) and promotion. Video 1 The average American consumes3000 adverts a day, They might see these adverts while watching tv,on the floor in super markets, on the shelves, on the side of telephone booths, blip adds and anywhere else you could think of. The second most uttered word in the world is the term "OK", Advertisers use a character or a personality to help sell a product because people cant connect with cigarets but they can with the Marlboro man and it helps sell because everytime you see the logo/character/personality you will link it with the product, but advertising doesn't always work because sometimes its targeted at the wrong audience or the product makes people want nothing to do with it for example The Ford Edsel seemed like a good car but mainly because it was ugly people didn't like it. Video 2 Research is an important phase of making a TV advert because it will help you get a insight of what you target audience is and what it likes and want from the products of your company/brand and how you can improve it to fit the users needs so it will sell better/have more people buying it and by doing research and finding out from people what they like about the product and use that in a advert and they found out what grabs peoples attention e.g. babies or dogs because people are interested in seeing what they are going to do. Video 3 Adverts stop us from turning over by using great visuals and pyrotechnics and also spend time making sure its eye catching e.g. by using a catchy jingle or something amazing like a baby dancing, the future of advertising doesn't seem to be that different from now because as we can see from where it started it hasn't changed much so i don't think that it will be that different just better visuals and new products.

Evaluation 6 weeks

I have been doing a level 3 new media for 6 weeks now and during the 6 weeks I got a studie buddy to contact if I need any help also I have made a blog on blogger by making a account and posting text, pictures and videos on it and learning the many ways I can use my blog and the differnce uses it has, I have also been putting my work on there so my touter can view it and assess my work. Then we where told to use a website called Prezi which is a presentation softwear online, we where told to make presentations about something we wanted to do/where intrested in doing in the media industry e.g. acting, photography ect... at the same time we made a rough script and a rough plan for my video profile that we where asked to make things like the camera angles, camera movments ect... I then re-edited my script and cut out bits that I didnt want in it and then moved on to making a story board for my video, we where told to make a video about us or something we where passionate about.
Then we where put in groupes of 3 or 4 and were told to get a camera and tripod and go and film the five shot sequence of a each of us doing something like listing to music, calling someone, reading a book, writing or drawing using the 5 shot rule, after that we came back and put the videos on the computers to edit and get use to using Final cut pro.
Then after we had done that we where told to film the scenes we wanted for our video profiles and also do our commentry using the script we made and put them all on a memory card that we where all given individually and after doing so we put all the vidoe from the memory card on the computers to start editing using Final cut pro.
During the 6 weeks we kept a lesson log and week review, in our lesson log we set one main target to be achived and sub-targets which will help us achive that target and also keep us on track and the week review helped us see what we did in the week that had gone by.
After we had finished editing our videos we uploaded them and put them on our blogs for them to be assessed.
During the 6 weeks I have learnt how to use Final cut pro and the 5 shot rule also I have made 2 videos and my own blog I have enjoyed the time I have done these and think it all went well.

Evaluation Video

My video profile is a about me and what I like doing and what kind of person I am, I started it by filming the scenes I wanted but I still wasnt happy so I helped others with filming and some editing and got some more ideas about what I wanted to do with my video.
So I did some filming around college and some at home and had some that I had done before so I looked through what I had and what I needed and filmed any extra things I needed.
After filming everything and getting all my videos together I decided what music I wanted in my video so I downloaded a few songs that I had thought about using in my video.
I then log and transferd all the videos I wanted to use and imported all the music I was going to use and did the same with the pictures, After that arranged the videos and music to make a rough edit and I viewed it and kept playing around with them for a little bit.
Then I decided what music and videos I was going to keep and not keep, after that I began by making my intro and adding the video and music then when I was happy with it I did the middel and after that I decided how I was going to end it, After I made a edit I was happy with I then did my vocal commentry and added it to the time line.
Then I sliced and arranged the commentry to fit in with the video then I lowerd the parts of music so that it wouldn't over lap my voice and renderd it all.
After all that I decided to fix all the little details and added some text where I it was requierd, then after I added some effects to make my video look better and less boring.
I watched it a few times and tweeked bit that I thought didnt work and then I asked people what they thought about it and listend to what they said and was happy with it so I exported it and uploaded it to YouTube then embeded it to my blog.
I was happy with it but I feel that if I had longer time to shoot and edit my video it would have been better and one thing I would change if I did it again would be my commentry because I can sound boring at times but overall I think it worked and went well.

My names Mahan I’m 17 and at the moment I’m doing level 3 new media.
I didn't do too well in my GCSE's but I got enough to move on to college but I needed a C in English so I re-sat and passed and while doing that I did a Level 2 b-tec in Preforming Arts and got a Distinction* and I'm also a qualified football coach.
Shots of me walking in the street(MLS/WORMS EYE/CRAB LEFT/PAN RIGHT) then me talking on the bus(CANTED/LS/XCU) and montage of surroundings and me(LOW/XCU/PAN LEFT AND RIGHT/XLS/MCU).
I worked in Boots in year 11 for work experience and it was good I enjoyed it learnt a few things.
I do alot of photography and video shooting and editing for people and get paid for a few of them but mainly do it coz I want to gain more experience and learn new things.

Montage(XCU/CRAB LEFT AND CRAB RIGHT/CANTED) and pan/zoomed in and out of different places I worked and montage of me doing some work(HIGH WORMES EYE/LS).
In my spare time I enjoy taking pictures and filming also love basketball and going out with friends, sleeping,laughing,watching films and travailing and one of the things I couldn't live without is music, music is everywhere in my life I listen to it everywhere I go and when every I can, I listen to a wide range of music from dubstep to jrock.
Montage of me doing different activities(HIGH(OVER SHOULDER)/CANTED/CRAB RIGHT AND LEFT/XCU/CU) and fading from shot to shot with linking shots.

In the future I would like to work in the media industry, anything from T.V. presenting,acting,editing, filming,producing ect...
Overall I would say I'm a person who loves to laugh but when I'm working I try to do it to the best of my ability and focus on getting it done.
One of the most important things that I try to do in my life is enjoys what I do and have fun while doing it because if you enjoy what your doing you will do it well, you will put your heart in it.

The video shows a vicar following a woman in a house and it shows what looks like her husband praying, as they proceed up the stairs you can hear screaming and everything is tense then the vicar opens the door and and the room seems empty then shows the bible pages flicking through fast by the wind and then suddenly it shows the daughter on the ceiling being possessed by a demon and screaming then the camera moves up and shows a old lady hoovering.
The target audience is mainly cleaners or care takers or for home use, it might be viewed by people aged 14 to 50 but apply's to people between 18 to 60.

To sell and hoover mainly and a lil ad for the movie 'The Exorcist'.
The image quality on the video is in HD on both TV and internet and its the same with the sound and has been edited like a movies.
